Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our Food & Beverage business. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of all aspects of the company. Your leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service, optimizing efficiency, and driving overall business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including restaurants, cafes, or any other F&B outlets.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality in service, food preparation, and customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate staffing needs, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for the F&B team.
  • Work closely with the kitchen staff and chefs to maintain food quality, menu innovation, and cost-effective inventory management.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, expenses, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhancing business performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions, events, and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely deliveries and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, seeking resolutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to uphold the overall ambiance, cleanliness, and aesthetics of the F&B establishment.
  • Manage financial aspects of the F&B operations, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role within the Food & Beverage industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of F&B operations, including restaurant management, kitchen operations, and customer service best practices.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities with a track record of motivating and managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle various aspects of the business simultaneously.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management to drive profitability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field proffered.
